“ I’ve had the pleasure to visit the shop and have had a fantastic experience with three different professional artists who have done excellent work for me and my people. Professionally a top notch establishment, personally a great group of gentleman who are perfectionist who are passionate in their craft. My most recent visit, John worked his magic efficiently as well as with precision , which consistently seems to be guaranteed outcome in his work. The cherry atop this Jim dandy experience was that I brought along a young apprentice I mentor named Carmine. “Mr. C” is a 9 year old young man who has been dealt a bad hand or two at the blackjack table of life but more importantly, is typically not a very happy customer when it comes to having his haircut.....BUT NOT ANYMORE ! hopefully I was impressed extensively by Anthony and the natural way he handled this particular client, he not only had the performance of perfection his shops proudly displayed as their standard to be expected but I was so impressed with the amount of heart he displayed as he worked. To be the finest example of a man of his craft is one thing but to relax and embrace the customer, slip in a joke and get you to crack a smile, relax in the moment and get your fullest possible value of the service is worth its weight in gold to me personally. It didn’t matter Mr.c was 9 or 90, Anthony was meticulous with the job but held a higher level of responsibility to respect the personal relationship between clients that is a cornerstone to the experience existing less and less for a young person who is growing up in this world today. I remember a time where you would walk into a packed shop and grow up on quietly waiting your turn and listening to the words of the gentleman who was standing beside a customer who was immediately engulfed with peace, enlightenment, culture, current affairs, psychology, politics, community relations and leadership as well as so much more yet in fewer words , that were just enough to make a lasting impression in the audience and the world overall. Anthony’s interaction was not as extraordinary as all those details in one experience but it was evident that over the course of a career he most certainly has the ability to make a tremendous impact on many young people’s lives who pass through and become dedicated loyal followers to the pride of who they have been blessed to have a half hour of time regathering their heads internally and externally with a trusted friend over the years to come. In a day and age where everyone is getting a app to cut their hair it’s truly a great opportunity and asset to the community for young people to have a great group of gentlemen to help support being the razor blades that help their clients stay sharp in more ways than one.
